AHS alumni Faith Bailey, Faith Barnett, Wendell Lewis, Vanessa Norris, and Kyle Smith were candidates for the American FFA degree in 2017. The American FFA degree is the highest honor bestowed upon any regular member of the national FFA organization. Usually 1% of FFA members earn this degree nationwide; AHS had five! About

The Agritechnologies Academy includes traditional agriscience operations in Animal Science and Horticulture. Students learn from hands-on activities and work in the classroom. Students may also extend their learning experience by joining the largest student-run organization in the world, FFA.
