AHS Saddle Creek Academy logoAHS Saddle Creek Logistics Academy

AHS has partnered with the Saddle Creek Corporation to provide students with a foundational understanding of technical design, drafting, 3D modeling, and logistics.  The program provides students with instruction in fundamental and advanced drafting skills as well as training in several drafting disciplines using the latest technology. The progression of instruction also incorporates warehousing and logistics. Students are introduced to and can earn industry certifications in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks. Earning the certifications allows students to show future employers they have a specific skill set and go beyond the basic requirements for course completion. Through an articulation agreement with several colleges and universities, the certifications earn college credits.

Course Progression

The Engineering Design Cycle/Process is the center of all courses in the academy. Students learn how to identify a specific problem and develop potential solutions with the end user in mind.

Throughout all 4 years, basic computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software are taught.
